Project on the analysis of two different IAPÂ embedded in two different games.

Brawl Stars
Brawl Stars is a freemium multiplayer action video game developed and published by Supercell.
Home screen
The home screen is very simple.Â
On the left we find the shop and on the top right the three currencies.
coins
Coins are the in-game soft currency that can be obtained by opening crates, through the shop by purchasing them in exchange for Gems or free offers or through the Pass.
This currency is used to increase the level of the characters (Brawler) or to make purchases in the shop.
Gems
Gems are the premium currency of the game and can be obtained slowly through the pass, the crates. The quick way is to buy them in the shop in exchange for real currency.
This currency is used to buy 99% of the things in the game, such as the pass, crates and skins.
Brawl Pass
The pass is the seasonal event that allows you to obtain rewards such as chests, gems and coins as you progress through the threshold.
The pass is divided into two parts:
Free: for all players, with rewards of small/medium value
Premium: purchasable through gems, with medium/high value rewards

Bundle
You can buy the Premium Pass in two categories:
Normal (169 gems): Just the Premium Pass with no additional bonuses.
Bundle (249 gems): Contains the pass and six free thresholds.
Star points
Star Points are the game's special currency that can only be obtained through the trophy league or through Brawlers.
This currency is used to purchase Star Skins.

The Shop is located on the left-hand side of the screen and is only accessible on this screen.
Whenever there are new offers or free items, the shop will light up otherwise it will be grey.

For easier use by the player, the shop is divided into sections.

In the offer section, we can find the time-based offers that the game provides.
The offers can be purchased with gems or with real money.
In the offers you can find chests, skins or extra content such as reactions.

In the daily offers section, we can find offers that change every 24 hours.
The offers can be bought with gems or coins, some of them are free.
In the daily offers you can find chests, characters or character gadgets.

Stellar Shop
In the Stellar Shop section, we can find special timed skins.
These star skins can only be purchased through star points.
There are always two skins and they always have the same priceÂ
(500 - 10000).

In the resource section, we can find chests, bonuses or coin/gem packages.
All resources are purchasable through gems, except for gem packages which can be purchased through real currency.
The game offers several choices for buying coins or gems, each with a different cost/gain.
What works and what doesn't
The positive point of the game is that it shows in a simple and clear way its shop with its articles,
Proposing various choices, for various needs, without exaggerating.
On the contrary, the game does not remind the player of offers except by lighting up the shop.
Adding a small screen to the game login where the best offers are shown or special offers created for the player would help the shop to be valued more.

Bloons TD Battles 2 is a new chapter of the award-winning tower defence game.
Home screen
Here too we find a rather simple screen with all the interfaces.
At the bottom left we find the shop, and at the top the currency, although this is not the only one, as the other is not shown on this screen.
Money
Both currencies are obtainable by playing and both can only be bought with real currency.
Money is the soft currency of the game, obtainable through victories, but the quickest way is by opening chests.
This currency is only used to unlock new characters or upgrade heroes.
Battle Points
Battle points are the premium currency of the game, obtainable slowly through victories or through real currency.
It is only used to open chests.

The Shop is located on the left of the screen and is only accessible on this screen.
Whenever there are new offers, the shop will have a small illuminated icon on the right.

It is the bundle with the lowest cost, despite not being very cheap.
This bundle changes every 24 hours and contains only cosmetic elements and money.

The Vip anime show is identical to the regular anime show, but with a higher price attached to exclusive premium content and the addition of the Vip Pass.

The VIP Pass is a subscription that offers several bonuses (Listed in the picture)
such as:
Increased Money/Battle Points gained after a battle.
Extra chest slot.
Extra daily reward.

This package can be purchased at the start of each season and offers a small advantage in terms of currency and the VIP pass.
Unfortunately the price is too high for what it offers.

What works and what doesn't
The good thing about the game is that it shows your shop with its articles in a simple and clear manner.
On the contrary, the items shown in the shop have a very poor quality/price ratio, which makes the purchase of packages pointless.
The VIP Pass also has a very bad quality/price ratio and offers nothing extra for the player.
The packages of Money/Battle Points are priced too high and the cheapest variant gives no advantage.

The difference in the IAP of these two mobile games is very marked.
Brawl Stars has quality/price in its articles.
BTB 2, on the other hand, offers nothing worth the price.
Both games do not remind the player of the offers except by lighting up the shop.
